For the past three days i have locked myself in my room and immersed in the music of Miss Lady Gaga.
I know not everyone will agree with me (especially my best friend) but i have always loved Lady Gaga. I may not love every outfit/ shocking moment that happens, but she has this sense of confidence and empowerment which is completely intoxicating.
So when her new album came out at the end of May, i couldn’t wait to hear what she would come up with. I also decided that i needed to listen to her earlier ‘The Fame’ and ‘The Fame Monster’ to see how she has evolved as an artist. There is quite a difference but i love it! Instead of wanting to put my sequin hot pants and dance around my room, crazy Gaga-style, with ‘Born This Way’, i wanted to put on my leather shorts and anything spiked. I’m sure her ‘little monster’ will love this album regardless of what the so-called critics say. ‘Born this Way’ album shows she is trying a different journey. And thats great and is what music should be. I also believe if you’re not a big Lady Gaga fan, tread with caution.
I think she is talented and has worked so hard to achieve what she has so far. The next adventure is to see what she will come up with for the music videos.

Whether you love this album or not, Lady Gaga is incredibly brave for going in a new direction. I believe this should be embraced, and praised as it takes courage. Listen with an open mind…..
